#52ancestors No. 20 – Heinrich Andreas Joachim Warnke

After a couple of weeks it is time for my next ancestor in the 52 ancestors in 52 weeks challenge of Amy Crow over at www.nostorytoosmall.com

Heinrich Andreas Joachim WARNKE is the husband of my 2nd cousin 4x removed Dorothea Maria Henriette HAGEDORN.

Heinrich was born on December 19, 1871 in Upahl, Mecklenburg-Schwerin, Germany.

He was baptized in Diedrichshagen, the main village of the parish on December 26, 1871.

The same church he got confirmed into the lutheran religion 15 years later on April 18, 1886.

It is also the same church he married Dorothea on October 23, 1896.

Below you find their marriage certificate. He is stated working as a cooper.

And you see those notes on the side? Those are my sources for the dates of death for Heinrich and Dorothea.

But going chronologically ;)

Heinrich and Dorothea had four children.

  • Hermann Wilhelm Heinrich * October 6, 1897
  • Anna Dorothea Christine Elisabeth * March 11, 1899
  • Frieda Maria Henriette * April 2, 1901
  • stillborn daughter * March 22, 1905

Also in the census of 1900, he is stated as a cooper living in Upahl, Mecklenburg-Schwerin, Germany.

The 1919 census shows him living with his wife, parents, Anna and Frieda in Upahl.
