December 3 – infant mortality – Eliseh Frieda Schwarz

I am finally back on track. Today really the blogpost for January 3 on my family tree.

But let’s take a look first to see what historical facts I could find for this day..

The Battle of Bapaume in the Franco-Prussian War ends in a tie.  The French Armée du Nord retrieved in the evening of January 3, 1871.

As first women Aretha Franklin gets inducted to the Rock’n’Roll Hall of Fame on January 3, 1987.

And on my family tree?

We go back to the year 1921. On January 3 my 4th cousin 2x removed Eliseh Frieda SCHWARZ is born in Diedrichshagen, Mecklenburg-Schwerin, Germany as a twin daughter to Hermann Ludwig Friedrich SCHWARZ and Anna Maria Eliseh SCHUMACHER.
Her twin sister Ilsa Leni Maria SCHWARZ took her time and was born one day later on January 4.
But unfortunately, both children shouldn’t survive. Ilsa already died on the day of her birth and Eliseh followed to the other side just two weeks later on January 15, 1921. According to her death entry she died of cramps.
She got laid to rest in Diedrichshagen, Mecklenburg-Schwerin on January 17, 1921
