January 1- Catharina Maria Dorothea Evert

After he signed the Scottish Covenant granting the Scotts their freedom of belief, Karl II. gets crowned the King of Scottland in Scone on January 1, 1651. He was the last king to be crowned in Scone.

With the Act of Union 1800 coming into effect on January 1, 1801 the kingdoms Great Britain and Ireland are unified to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland.

The only event I have for this day on my family tree is the death of Catharina Maria Dorothea EVERT on January 1, 1855 in Upahl, Mecklenburg-Schwerin, Germany.

She was only two years old – being born on February 9, 1853 in Upahl and christened February 11, 1853 in Diedrichshagen.

She was the second of six children of Johann Joachim EVERT and his wife Wilhelmina Margaretha Elisabeth WARNKE. Unfortunately, three of their children died before reaching an age of 2 years.

Catharina got laid to rest on January 5, 1855 in Diedrichshagen.
