And 100 years later to the day on December 18, 1944 the first “Le Monde” gets published in Paris, France.

She was born on November 21, 1848 in Upahl, Mecklenburg-Schwerin, Germany as the oldest child of the cottager Hans Joachim GREVE and his wife Catharina Margaretha née VASELT.

On November 12, 1880 she married the wagoner Heinrich Friedrich EVERT who also lived in Upahl. According to the 1900 census taken on December 1 she was already widowed and lived in Grevesmühlen, which is the closest city to the parish of Diedrichshagen.
